NORFOLK, Va. — Early voting is officially underway in Virginia. Voters can cast their ballots 45 days before Election Day, which is November 4.
Several Norfolk residents said they have already made their way to the ballot box.
At the top of the 2025 election ballot is a vote for the state's top office. Virginians will decide a new governor, deciding between Democrat Abigail Spanberger or Republican Winsome Earle-Sears, the current lieutenant governor. Voters will also select a new lieutenant governor and a new attorney general.
Several localities across Hampton Roads also have races that include town and city council members, as well as referendums, school board members, sheriffs, and Commonwealth's attorneys.
One Norfolk resident told 13New Now who she was eager to vote early for. "
