Virginia voters are starting to cast ballots in three statewide races, as well as every seat in the House of Delegates, as early voting opened Friday for this fall's general election.

The national spotlight is on the top of the ticket, where Democrat Abigail Spanberger faces Republican Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears. It’s one of only two gubernatorial elections in the country this year, so it’s being seen as a test of how voters feel about Trump administration policies.
