John Legend loves all of his family—even when they're rowdy.

In fact, the "All of Me" singer said he and wife Chrissy Teigen actually cherish the "chaos" their four kids Luna , 9, Miles , 7, Esti , 2, and Wren , 2, bring to the home.

"Having all that energy, love and laughter in the house is beautiful," he exclusively told E! News' Francesca Amiker at the Black Music Action Coalition Gala in Los Angeles Sept. 18. "Everybody's walking. Everybody's talking."

However, it helps when his older children can release some of that energy at school, too.

"We're fortunate that three of them are now at the same school , so it makes drop-off and pick-up a little easier," the 46-year-old quipped. "It's chaotic, but it's a nice kind of chaos."
