LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — A Blytheville man was arrested by the Blytheville Police Department on Friday after another man died due to what police say was an overdose.
Officials stated in a Facebook post that 33-year-old Bennie Wells was arrested for aggravated death by delivery in the death of 34-year-old Adam Rocha.
Officers were sent to the 100 block of Dougan regarding a male being unresponsive and not breathing.
Police arrived and found Rocha, with Pafford EMS arriving and exhausting all life-saving measures.
An investigation by the Blytheville Criminal Investigations Division and the 2nd Judicial Drug Task Force led to the issuance of a warrant and the arrest of Wells, according to police.
Wells was taken to the Mississippi County Detention Center.
