NEW YORK (PIX11) -- Republican and former NYC Councilmember Joseph Borelli discusses the options for Republican voters in the NYC Mayoral race who may not be pleased with the choices on the ballot.
He says the current challengers to Mamdani are "not presenting a vision, their vision in a way New Yorkers are latching onto."
Though undecided, he praised Mayor Adams, saying he's "turned things around in the last 18 months" and "wishes more people would notice that."
On the topic of political rhetoric, Borelli says, "you have to be vocal about who you are... and push back on what you see is wrong on the other side... but I think people lose sight of that balance." Borelli encourages politicians to "know your colleagues, understand where they come from. I'll be a better world because of it."
