RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. — A 20-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a shooting that wounded two people at a Bluff Road area apartment complex .

The Richland County Sheriff's Department said Jonathan Bethea was found in Horry County after local law enforcement stopped him on an area road on Monday. He was held for extradition after local officers confirmed he was wanted in a shooting that happened at Redpoint Apartments at 1050 Southern Drive days earlier.

He has since been transferred to the Richland County Sheriff's Department's custody and taken to Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center on two counts of attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
