Resident Evil gamers are losing it over the potential of some highly-rated remakes coming to a new console.
When the original Resident Evil was released in 1996, the Capcom survival horror series instantly cemented its place as one of the great video game franchises of all time, thanks to its haunting location, tense atmosphere, horrific creatures and a dose of cheesy Barry Burton one-liners.
Today, the franchise is still going strong with its latest offering, Resident Evil Requiem, arriving next year, starring Grace Ashcroft, daughter of Alyssa from Resident Evil Outbreak.
Resident Evil Requiem looks to ramp up the horror and takes us back to Raccoon City, roughly 30 years after it was nuked in an attempt by the US government to cover up the Umbrella Corps T-Virus outbreak.
