LOGAN — The Bear River Health Department has confirmed the first measles case in an unvaccinated individual in Cache County.
Health officials are conducting contact tracing to notify people who may have been exposed and to prevent further spread of the virus. Officials will not release any further information about the case due to medical privacy laws.
The health department identified two locations where public exposure may have occurred:
Intermountain Budge Clinic, 1350 North 500 East in Logan, on Sept. 15 between 3 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Chick-fil-A, 40 South Hwy 165 in Providence, on Sept. 11 between 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
