LONDON, Ky. (WKYT) - A judge heard arguments from a former Kentucky mayor asking to be put back on the job.
It comes after Randall Weddle was impeached as the mayor of London earlier this month. Weddle is now suing .
The former mayor appeared in Laurel County Circuit Court in front of Judge David Williams on Friday afternoon.
Three of the initial charges from the September 5 public hearing were discussed, including the mortgage related to the Levi Jackson State Park, appointments to the ethics board and the mayor’s failure to publish an ordinance.
The former mayor’s attorney also mentioned irreparable damages. Long-time city attorney Larry Bryson was fired after the appointment of the interim mayor. This is a part of the reason the former mayor’s attorney claims there are irreparab
