2Washington, D.C. – Rep. Mikie Sherrill (D-NJ) voted Friday in favor of a House resolution condemning the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, while sharply criticizing former President Donald Trump for what she called “hypocrisy at every turn.”

She also took a shot at the now-dead free speech advocate who was assassinated by a far-left radical who appears to have murdered Kirk to protect the shooter’s trans lover.

In a statement following the vote, Sherrill emphasized her lifelong commitment to defending the Constitution, citing her military service and repeated oaths of office.
