GOGEBIC COUNTY, Mich. (Northern News Now) - A man was arrested Friday following a police pursuit that involved multiple agencies across Gogebic and Iron Range.
According to the Gogebic County Sheriff’s Office, authorities were investigating a stolen vehicle in Ironwood and attempted to conduct a traffic stop when the suspect fled.
The suspect was identified as 30-year-old Robert Ganz-Brown Jr., from Superior.
The pursuit allegedly went through multiple towns, spanning 50 miles, ending the pursuit with the use of stop sticks.
Ganz-Brown allegedly took off on foot once the vehicle was stopped, though officers were able to taze him and place him under arrest.
Ganz-Brown is being held at the Gogebic County Jail with a $100,000 cash bond, and is facing 12 counts, including:
four counts of
