TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - Ahead of Tuesday’s CD 7 special election, voters are heading to the polls on the last day of early voting.

Starting Saturday, early voting locations will be rebranded as emergency voting locations for those who are unable to vote on election day due to unforeseen circumstances.

“We want voting to be easy, secure, and accessible to everybody,” said Pima County Recorder Gabriella Cázares-Kelly.

She said that the only thing that makes emergency sites different from early voting sites is that voters will need to sign a conditional affidavit stating that an emergency prevents them from voting on election day.
