COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office said they arrested a “confirmed” gang member following the execution of a search warrant on Wednesday.

PCSO, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas Task Force and the Algood Police Department executed a search warrant at a home in the 700 block of Cardinal Street at 8:40 a.m.

As law enforcement entered the home, they also spotted the resident, Kevin Otey, driving down Cardinal Street, so they pulled him over.

In the search of the home, law enforcement found cocaine, 126 grams of marijuana, two firearms, including a 12-gauge shotgun and a 9mm pistol with additional ammunition, drug paraphernalia and $3,869 in cash.
