Three boys and a 25-year-old man appeared in court Friday in connection with the assault of a trans woman at the Renton Transit Center on Monday.
Two brothers, ages 15 and 17, both pleaded not guilty to charges of assault and a hate crime.
A 16-year-old boy and the 25-year-old man made their initial court appearances on Friday. Prosecutors are expected to file charges against them early next week.
All three teens are being held under electronic home monitoring.
The 25-year-old man remains in custody, with bail set at $300,000
He turned himself in after a family member recognized his photo on the Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound website, convincing him to surrender, authorities said.
