ORONO -- The Maine Black Bears field hockey team hosted the Northeastern Huskies Friday afternoon in Orono.
Early in the first quarter, Maine was on the attack and fired a shot but Huskies goalkeeper Arabella Loveridge put the pad out and made a wonderful save before the Huskies defense moved the ball out of the zone.
On the other side, it was Maine goalkeeper Rozarie Mrazova adding to the highlight when she faced two back-to-back shots, each of which she made diving saves for to keep the game scoreless.
In the second quarter, Mrazova ran out of goal to make a stop, but drew contact which awarded sophomore Camille Armaganian a penalty stroke opportunity, which she would covert on to put the Huskies up 1-0.
