The LaFayette Police Department responded Friday night after reports of shots fired outside the high school football stadium.
The Bulldogs were playing Lanett High School when witnesses said they heard gunfire.
Police asked fans to stay inside the stadium and away from the scene on Alabama Avenue East while they investigated.
A live stream by HPTV Media Solutions captured the moments first responders arrived on the scene.
Witnesses said they heard two shots and heard someone screaming for an ambulance. An ambulance was seen pulling in front of a home. Sportscaster D. Mark Mitchell reported one person was seriously injured outside the stadium. No players or coaches were hurt.
The score was 36-0, Lanett, when the announcer came over the intercom and announced the game was over.
