NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – In North Little Rock, the stadium was buzzing with energy as the Charging Wildcats took on Little Rock Catholic.

But one thought lingered in the back of the minds of many fans.

"Well, it's like a cut on your arm. You know it's there all the time. But, I mean we can't go hide in a closet,” North Little Rock fan Gary Brewer said.

Brewer was at the football game last week in North Little Rock, when a man was carried out on a stretcher at halftime. Police said he was shot in the visitor side bleachers from a bullet that came from outside of the stadium.

One week later, Little Rock Catholic fans sit in those same stands. Lakeisha Carroll said the increased police presence gives her comfort.
