SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — It's that time of year again when music takes over the Hostess City.

The 44th Annual Jazz Festival officially kicked off Friday.

Friday was just the beginning of a weekend filled with jazz music in Savannah with Spyro Gyra filling Forsyth Park. WSAV’s Kim Gusby helped introduce them.

There are over 10 free concerts you can go to across the city between Friday and Sunday.

You can catch the U.S. Navy band at 4:10 Saturday in Forsyth Park and three local school bands on Sunday at District Live at Plant Riverside.

WSAV is once again a proud media sponsor of the Jazz Festival.
