SAN FRANCISCO (KTXL) - In two days, the San Francisco 49ers will host the Arizona Cardinals in their home opener. In five months, the 49ers will host Super Bowl LX.

It has been ten years since the Bay Area last hosted a Super Bowl. That will change on February 8 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara.

"One of the things that I love so much about the Bay Area and the NFL connection is your spirit of innovation," said NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, who was in San Francisco on Friday morning. "Of never being settled, and never saying that we're good enough. You're always reinventing yourself."
