Fall is nearly here, pumpkin patches are getting ready to open and Grand Junction’s own Willy Tuz is back on the Food Network.
The first episode of Season 15 of “Halloween Wars” will premiere on the Food Network on Sunday , Sept. 21 . Tuz, owner of Colorado Fruit Designs and pumpkin, fruit and ice carver, will be on one of seven teams in the competition.
Each team consists of a pumpkin carver, cake artist and sugar artist and will compete for a $25,000 grand prize. Joining Tuz on Team Graveyard Shift are Cat Campbell (cake) and Kimberly Rivers (sugar).
Rivers isn’t a stranger to competition on the Food Network. She won “Holiday Wars” in 2022.
Tuz also is a familiar face in the Food Network’s pumpkin carving competitions.
