Frederick Health Auxiliary awarded four scholarships totaling $10,000 to four local high school students during a ceremony held May 1 at Frederick Health Hospital. This year’s scholarship recipients were Aditya Gujalwar, Taylor Johnson, Mewenn LeGuellec and Arya Paghdal.

Paghdal is the recipient of the $2,500 Presidents Scholarship that honors the past and future Frederick Health Auxiliary presidents. Paghdal will graduate from Oakdale High School and will be attending the University of Texas in Austin, where she will study medicine with the ultimate goal of becoming an emergency room physician.
