Week 5 of high school football in Sarasota and Manatee counties had it all.

There were shootouts, blowouts, a near comeback, an overtime win and a month's worth of highlight reel plays.

Asharri Charles, Venice

Charles, a senior defensive end, was matched up against an offensive line that includes two four-star players, but he still had his way, finishing with 3.5 sacks and two forced fumbles. Through four games, Charles has 8.5 sacks and three forced fumbles.
