This month marks 10 years since Timothy Egkan, a prominent businessman, was found dead on a Stockton street, and his family is still seeking closure and justice.

From a young age, Egkan's curiosity and innovative mind were evident.

"He took the business page to class in the sixth grade so that when he was finished with his work, he could sit there and read the business page," said Jeff Egkan. "At 15, he started selling online car accessories," he added. "He then went on to sell designer jeans online."

Egkan's vision extended to Stockton, where his company, Ten Space, aimed to transform the downtown area into a vibrant destination.
