What a great start to the Irish Festival at St. Pat's on Friday evening. The weather was great. The tents have all kinds of activities, food, grog, merchandise, and there's even a Leprechaun Village for the kids. Of course, there's the beautiful church where you can get tours on Saturday until the 5 o'clock mass.
The food is awesome. Thanks to long-time chairperson Vickie (holding the glass of Guinness) for always helping us show you the treats. Pictures are Shepard's Pie, a big tasty Reuben Sandwich, Potato Soup, Irish Soda Bread, and the thing in the foil in the first picture is known as a Leprechaun Nugget, the Irish's answer to Pepperoni Balls. As you can see in the second picture, it's filled with corned beef like a Reuben, and it's delicious.
