NEW DELHI: Punjab, the state known as the food bowl of India, is battling one of its worst flood crises in recent memory. Rising to the occasion, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has launched ‘Mission Chardi Kala’—a campaign that goes beyond immediate relief to focus on rehabilitation, reconstruction, and long-term development of flood-affected areas.

All donations will flow into the ‘Rangla Punjab Vikas Fund,’ managed by the Rangla Punjab Society, which was set up to address emergencies. The fund is entirely based on voluntary contributions, with no government budget support.
