STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A trio of candidates for the North Shore City Council seat joined the Advance/SILive.com Friday to talk about the issues facing the district’s constituents.

Incumbent Councilmember Kamillah Hanks, a Democrat representing the district since 2022, joined Republican John Shea and third-party candidate Sarah Bla s for a meeting with the Advance Editorial Board at the paper’s Travis office.
