As you are heading out to start the weekend, areas of fog remain across ENC this morning. That will continue until late morning as we become sunny and breezy in the afternoon. Temperatures will be in the mid-80s, thanks to a backdoor cold front that will usher in a small bit of relief. Further inalnd areas could see 90°F, closer to the I-95, while coastal locations will see mid-to-upper 70s. Heat indices could get near the upper 80s and low 90s.

Sunday will feature more sun than clouds and cooler air temperatures in the lower 80s, with a northeast/easterly component to the wind. Humidity will be tolerable. Lows at night remain in the lower 60s. As for chances of rain, we could see a pop-up shower, but we will stay dry for the most part.

More of the dry conditions continue into the start
