The Manchester Central defense forced three turnovers, including a game-clinching interception by Romello Diaz, as the Little Green won their first game of the season, 13-7 over Concord on Friday night at Gill Stadium.
Javian Beckles had a fumble recovery and Owen Taylor-Gelinas an interception for Central, which broke a 7-7 tie in the third quarter on a 1-yard touchdown run by Gibril Djuma. The Little Green (1-2 in Division I) also scored on a 58-yard TD pass from quarterback Drake Jamies to Taylor-Gelinas.
Concord (1-2) opened the game's scoring in the first quarter on an 11-yard TD pass from quarterback Rhus Craigue to Ben Ryder.
