While conference clashes are going on around the country, one game is flying under the radar.

A matchup looms between two teams, one from the SEC and one from the American, who both carry College Football Playoff hopes. The Tulane Green Wave, a G5 darling that many have tabbed as a playoff contender, will walk into the treacherous Vaught-Hemingway Stadium to take on the Ole Miss Rebels in a fantastic Week 4 matchup.

Tulane is not going to roll over and give this one to Ole Miss. The Green Wave is a talented bunch with a very dangerous quarterback in Jake Retzlaff, who can create headaches for defenses. He has thrown for 522 yards, while also being their leading rusher with 288 more yards on the ground.

But Ole Miss is just as strong. Ferris State transfer Trinidad Chambliss is likely getting his second start, and he was simply outstanding last weekend against Arkansas, throwing for 353 yards and running for 62 more. The Rebels can lean on his dual-threat ability as well.

This one stays tighter and tests the Rebels, but they hold on late. As for Tulane, this is not a damaging loss for the College Football Playoff, and could even strengthen their case if they play Ole Miss close.
