Tributes have been paid to a former Edinburgh resident DJ who has died at just 57-years old, months after sharing the news he had been diagnosed with an incurable brain tumour.

Keith McIvor, who is known as DJ and producer JD Twitch, played at the legendary legendary Pure club in Edinburgh in the 1990s. He was admitted to The Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice in Glasgow early last month.

He sadly passed away on Friday afternoon.

His music partner, Jonnie Wilkes, aka JG Wilkes, shared the news on their page Instagram page Optimo Espacia. He said: "It’s with immense sadness that I’m writing to tell you Keith passed away peacefully yesterday at 2.06pm at The Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice in Glasgow.
