MOBILE COUNTY, Ala (WKRG) – The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is investigating a single-vehicle crash in Mobile County that left a man dead Friday afternoon, according to a news release.

ALEA says that a 2017 Toyota Camry was driving on U.S. Route 45 two miles south of Citronelle around 3:20 p.m. on Friday when the vehicle left the road and hit a tree.

The news release says the passenger, 20-year-old Christian DeBose from Choctaw County, wasn’t wearing a seatbelt. He was taken to a nearby hospital but later died from his injuries.

ALEA says the 19-year-old driver was also injured in the crash. He was taken to another hospital. We don't know his condition right now. ALEA didn't say what may have caused the crash
