The memorial for conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who called Arizona home and was instrumental in the Republican effort to elect Donald Trump president in 2024, will be held at State Farm Stadium beginning at 11 a.m. Arizona time Sept. 21.
The stadium is home to the Arizona Cardinals football franchise. It can hold up to 73,000 people for special events. Seating in the stadium will be on a first-come, first-served basis, and Turning Point USA, the political group geared toward young people that Kirk founded, is planning for overflow seating at the nearby Desert Diamond Arena, which has capacity for about 19,000 people.
Traffic was expected to be heavy around the venues , and parking limited. Glendale police said attendees should expect to walk long distances and wait in long securi
