Freedom High School delivered a statement win Friday night, overpowering visiting A.C. Reynolds 70-20 in front of a packed home crowd.

The Patriots improved to 5-0 heading into their bye week, powered by historic performances from quarterback Kaden Davis and wide receiver Kobe Johnson.

The game started with fireworks. After Freedom’s opening drive stalled, Reynolds fumbled on its first possession. Johnson scooped up the loose ball for a defensive touchdown, giving Freedom an early 7-0 lead. The Rockets responded with a touchdown pass from Kolton Rymer to Tremaine Keeter, but a missed two-point try kept Freedom ahead 7-6.
