COLUMBIA, Mo. (KCTV) - South Carolina star quarterback LaNorris Sellers is expected to play Saturday night when the Gamecocks visit Mizzou.
According to a report from CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz , Sellers will play after exiting South Carolina’s last game against Vanderbilt due to injury.
Sellers, one of the top quarterbacks in the country, left last weekend’s game when he was hit in the head. The redshirt sophomore quarterback is a contender to be a first-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft if he elects to declare following this season.
He and the Gamecocks are 9.5-point underdogs against Mizzou.
The Tigers are undefeated and ranked No. 23 in this week’s AP Poll.
Kickoff for the game between the Tigers and Gamecocks is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT on ESPN.
