WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- D.C. police are investigating after two women and a man were injured in two separate stabbings on Benning Road on Friday.
Officers were called to the first stabbing in the 1600 block of Benning Road, Northeast just minutes after 5 p.m. There, they found a man suffering from stab wounds, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
Responders took the man, who was conscious and breathing, to the hospital for treatment. Police were looking for three males last seen wearing all black clothing in connection with the incident.
Just hours later, at around 7:25 p.m., officers responded to another reported stabbing in the 1900 block of Benning Road, where they found two woman who had been stabbed, police said.
