CENTERVILLE, Utah (ABC4) -- A 12-year-old riding an e-bike was struck by a vehicle in Centerville Friday night, according to Centerville Police.
At around 8 p.m. on Sept. 19, a 12-year-old boy riding an electric bicycle was traveling across 400 East at 900 South. He was reportedly in the crosswalk with a group of friends that were walking with him.
According to police, a vehicle heading southbound on 400 East, preparing to turn left onto 900 South, had stopped prior to the crosswalk in the two-way left turn lane. The vehicle stopped allowing the pedestrians to cross.
The boy on the e-bike proceeded across the street ahead of the pedestrians and was struck by a southbound vehicle -- identified as a Subaru wagon -- that was passing the stopped vehicle, police said. The boy reportedly went
