PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Steelers safety DeShon Elliott is inching closer towards a return despite being ruled out for the team’s Week 3 game against the New England Patriots .
In a video posted by Steelers Now , Elliott can be seen warming up with the rest of the team, the first step in a player returning to the field. It signals that Elliott is in the middle of a ramp period, which will likely come with a warmup in New England as well.
It could set the stage for Elliott to return in Week 4 against the Minnesota Vikings in Ireland. He suffered an MCL Sprain against the New York Jets in Week 1.
