The Pittsburgh Steelers hosted five players for workouts on Friday after guard Max Scharping suffered a torn ACL in practice.
Scharping has not played in any games just yet, The Steelers have 10 offensive linemen rostered, and Scharping is one of their gameday inactives.
Scharping joined the Steelers in October 2024 after injuries racked up along the offensive line. The big appeal for his depth status is that he can play anywhere for the Steelers, making him a valuable piece.
The Steelers hosted offensive linemen Karsen Barnhart, Leroy Watson, Chris Glaser, Lorenzo Thompson, and Sebastian Gutierrez for visits. Four of those players are tackles while one is a guard, but all have the flexibility.
