LARAMIE — The standard in the University of Wyoming’s wide receivers room has risen astronomically.

Just ask All-Mountain West honorable mention Jaylen Sargent, who was benched in Week 1 following a handful of subpar plays.

The increased expectations come after Jovon Bouknight was promoted to coach the room this offseason after spending last year as an offensive analyst. The former Cowboys wide receiver was inducted into the school’s Athletics Hall of Fame a year ago.
