LAKE HAVASU CITY, AZ (AZFamily) — Authorities are asking for the public’s help in finding a driver accused of hitting and killing a bicyclist near Lake Havasu City last week.

The collision happened on Sept. 14 at about 5:20 p.m. A cyclist riding on the northbound paved shoulder of State Route 95, about 10 miles north of Lake Havasu City, was struck from behind by the driver of a pickup truck, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

The driver did not remain at the scene, and the cyclist was found dead by a passerby.

State troopers believe the vehicle involved was a 2024 or 2025 GMC Sierra HD pickup truck, possibly a Denali trim level, that likely has damage to its front passenger side from the crash.
