DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The first annual Expressions of Peace Expo took place on Saturday at the Dayton Convention Center.

The expo was a full-day, free community event hosted by the nonprofit New Beginnings for You.

It said its mission is to create a platform where community members can access resources and inspiration that extend well beyond one day.

There were workshops, keynote speakers, and interactive demonstrations on topics like trauma awareness, family connection and youth empowerment.

Organizations like the Peace Ambassador Program were able to get involved to explore pathways to inner, family and community peace.
