Florida football will get a chance for redemption in its matchup at state rival Miami.

The Florida Gators (1-2, 0-1) are looking to avenge a 41-17 loss to the Hurricanes against The Swamp last season.

"They came in here, you know, they whooped us, like, if we're being real," Florida junior safety Jordan Castell said. "So, of course, you know, the defense wants to get back, but we're ready to play. Like, it don't matter who it is."

Florida dropped to 20-21 overall under fourth-year coach Billy Napier following a 20-10 loss at No. 4 LSU in which starting quarterback DJ Lagway threw five intercpetions. It won't get any easier facing No. 6 Miami, which is off to a 3-0 start under fourth-year coach Mario Cristobal, with wins over No. 19 Notre Dame, Bethune-Cookman and USF.
