Blackburn's clash against Ipswich Town at Ewood Park has been abandoned due to a waterlogged pitch.

Unfortunately the Ewood Park pitch could not drain fast enough amid the wet weather, forcing Martin to take the drastic decision to end the contest early.

At the time it was abandoned, Blackburn led 1-0 courtesy of a Todd Cantwell penalty.

Blackburn wrote on X that the EFL Board will make a decision on whether the contest will be replayed in full 'in due course.'
