The last two Legend of Zelda games have been absolute bangers, and anyone that disagrees with that fact is, frankly, wrong.

Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom did so much to rejuvenate the series for the Nintendo Switch generation and they will likely serve as a cornerstone experience for many for years to come.

It's little surprise then that thoughts are now beginning to turn to what comes next, particularly with the increased hardware capabilities of the Switch 2. Sure, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment will keep us entertained for a while, but the hack and slash gameplay isn't for everyone and we'll need a true Zelda experience before long.
