EAST HARTFORD, Conn. (WFSB) - An Amber Alert has been issued for 11-year-old Amelia Santiago, who was last seen on Friday, Sept. 19, in Manchester.

Authorities say Amelia is believed to be with her father, 59-year-old Ricardo Santiago, and they may be traveling in a gray 2015 Jeep Patriot.

Amelia is described as 4 feet 11 inches tall, weighing approximately 120 pounds, with brown eyes.

Ricardo Santiago is described as bald, with brown eyes, standing 5 feet 8 inches tall, and weighing around 150 pounds. He is known to have a scar on his ankle.

Officials are urging anyone who sees Amelia or Ricardo Santiago or the vehicle to call 911 immediately.

The investigation is ongoing.
