Raiders' coaches reveal if they plan to let Ashton Jeanty play more

Ashton Jeanty has the most carries of any rookie running back through two weeks.

It still doesn't feel like the Las Vegas Raiders have used him enough.

This week, offensive coordinator Chip Kelly and head coach Pete Carroll were both asked about the former Boise State star's usage, and the answer is at least somewhat encouraging.

"Carroll expects Jeanty's workload to increase in the coming weeks," ESPN's Ryan McFadden wrote . "He wants Jeanty to play eight to nine more snaps so that he can get around 20 carries in a game."

Jeanty certainly wants to be out there.

"I don't think you draft a guy like me to not give me carries and touches," Jeanty said. "I'm ready for the responsibility."
