OTTAWA COUNTY, MI — A motorcyclist and his passenger suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries in a Jamestown Township crash Friday, Sept. 19.

A 23-year-old Hudsonville man failed to observe the northbound Harley Davidson motorcycle as he pulled out of a driveway on 32nd Avenue at 6:30 p.m., according to an Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office release.

The 32-year-old motorcyclist did not have time to avoid the car, police said. The strike ejected him and a 27-year-old female passenger from the bike.

Both were wearing helmets, police said. Both were taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Speed is not a factor in the crash, police said.
