A Wyandotte city council member is under the microscope for comments he made on his personal social media account following the shooting death of Charlie Kirk and the TV suspension of Jimmy Kimmel.
ABC suspended "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" indefinitely on Wednesday after the late night host claimed President Donald Trump's supporters were trying to characterize conservative activist Charlie Kirk's alleged killer Tyler Robinson as "anything other than one of them." Robinson had started to lean politically left over the past year or so leading up to his killing of Kirk, according to his mother.
The network move came after Federal Communications Commission Chairman Brendan Carr told a podcaster "we can do this the easy way or the hard way" in reference to Kimmel's remarks.
