DONIPHAN, Mo. (KFVS) - A homicide investigation is underway in Doniphan, Missouri.

Officers were called shortly before midnight on Friday, September 19, to a home in the city limits to a possible homicide.

According to Doniphan Police, when officers arrived, they found a person dead inside the home.

The identity of the victim or what caused their death is not being released at this time, but police said a suspect is in custody.

In a Facebook post, Doniphan Police Chief Mark A. Rodgers stated that more details about the homicide investigation will be released once charges are filed.
