For the past year, Abigail and Grant Kassing have been eagerly counting down the days for their wedding ceremony.

They picked a venue a year in advance and had just finalized their menu selection when they got word, less than two months before the big day, that their venue was shutting its doors. And on top of it all, they would be losing a more than $6,000 deposit.
